All units require a constant hydraulic flow rate, to calculate the power available the calculation is flow rate in L/pm x pressure in bar divided by 600, so if we have 21 L/pm x 210 bar = 4410 divided by 600 = 7.35 kW potential power, which with an overall efficiency of approx. 75%, means that this unit can produce approximately 5.5kW, if the pressure available is lower the power achievable will be reduced accordingly.
All units are supplied as standard with pressure compensated flow control valve, directional valve and pressure relief valve. Units can be supplied with either 12v or 24v DC coils. Output voltages available are 110vCTE, 220v, 110/240v or 400v three phase. Both 50 and 60hz units are available.
Units can be manufactured to suit individual customer requirements, please always specify flow rate available and maximum pressure in bar, in order that we may offer the right unit for your application.

This varies from machine to machine, but in principle the units are designed to integrate into the existing hydraulic circuit. The generator will only operate when the machine functions are not being used, this is important because it means that the generator when installed does not affect the performance of the machinery. It is also important from a safety aspect; you wouldn't want one person busy working away with his power tools and somebody else trying to move the machine, could be dangerous!
For the UK all units are 110v CTE (centre tapped to earth) as standard as well as incorporating RCBO protection as standard. This meets with HSE guidelines on the safe use of electricity on construction sites as well as the Health and Safety policies of the majority of contractors today. Not only are our units 110v CTE, the RCBO provided protects the operator against electric shock and the machine from overload. For applications outside the UK units are supplied 230v only and again are supplied as standard with RCBO protection.
